Birthdays

Hello!
My friend Angie had her birthday this week, so I drew her a picture, and made her some decoden jewelery and a cake box c:
Since my birthday is close to hers, she got me THE MOST AMAZING GIFT EVER LOOK AT THIS SAILOR CHIBI NECKLACE.
And here are some shirts I designed!

I'm sure there's something I'm forgetting to post, but I will make another one later!
Thanks for stopping by~ :)

Some Decoden

I made a ton of decoden this week, so I thought I'd share! <3

My friend Angie also got me a Sailor Moon pin! c:
I made a TON of prototype examples for Catscratch, and I'm super excited to show you, so I will make a better post when I get home!
Thanks for stopping by! <3

Things for Catscratch~

'Sampled to scale, here are my sticket sheet designs for Catscratch! Each character will probably be featured on an acrylic charm too for rings, necklaces, and cell-phone charms. Of course, I'm going to add extra gems to the acrylic, but I think they turned out really cute. I'll probably make a cupcake t-shirt too c:
Vectors drive me mad, but thankfully, they get easier to make the more you play with the pen tool!

I also got my gift from the exchange I did with Nicci! I got a Totoro ring+ hairclips that I've been wearing for the past few days~

My dad stopped over during the week and got me thai food from my favorite place. (yummyyy)

Last but not least, I got my Maddison dermal put in. I love it so much more than the double dermals. You can still see the scars from my four dermals (that natrually fell out), but the Maddison is a big sparkly piece on my throat! You can't see it very well because it was night time when I took the picture, but I'm sure it will turn up in the next photos I post.

Thanks for stopping by! c:

Its okay to love toys at any age!

(✿◡‿◡✿)

I love video games, virtual pets, and other fun electronics just as much as the next person, and appreciate all the efforts put into their creation. With that said; however, it breaks my heart to see the local and big-name toy stores around me disappearing. After a day of gaming, and surfing the web, to me there is something magical about having a plush to snuggle at the end of the day.
In the first Easter basket I ever got, I received an adorable little plush lamb. My basket wasn’t anything fancy, as my parents were both still in school, and constantly working part-time jobs to support me and themselves. Given that, I was alone most of the time, and played by myself. At the time, something in me hated the lamb, and treated it cruelly. One day while taking out my childish frustrations, I looked at the lamb, cried uncontrollably, and treasured it ever since. Shortly after this event, my parents separated, and I kept the lamb with me wherever I went until it disappeared.
I had forgotten about the lamb until recently; I couldn’t understand why I ever did such a thing to begin with (punishing something that was undeserving), and why I suddenly stopped. Then, it finally hit me, that my little lamb had somehow taught me that nothing given to me out of love was meant to be taken for granted, to be compassionate, and to respect even the small stuff for the effort that was put into them. Of course, at the time, I couldn’t explain the sudden change, but this stuffed toy gave me a lesson that I still remember till this day.
To me, there is just something that a tangible toy can do that cannot be replaced by anything cybernetic. You don’t need to “grow out” of anything that you love, despite what you may have been told about “growing up”, be it through toys or not. Everyone has something that gives them a bit of magic too.

Classes & Crafts

Hello! I just started my new classes this week. Online classes are worse than I thought they would be! Before the class officially started, my professor emailed me and told me to have two sites coded, designed, and working within three days. It had been such a long time since my last design course, since I decided to get all my general classes out of the way. Coding is so much work(;´・ะด・)
Anyway, I ended up making the sites, but the next eight weeks are going to drive me crazy! Not to mention, things that I'm buying on ebay are not getting sent, I was looking forward to some dresses. Gosh.

Here's some color practice I did tonight after reading all the manga I could possibly read. On to some pictures of an outfit I put together

 Dress: Milky-chan replica
Cardigan: F21
Boots: Bodyline.

Finally figured out how to curl my hair this week, too! .\

Here's my Princess compact mirror, I got the charms at the local craft store. Oddly enough I notice some people take the castle one, glue it on the back of a ring, and call it "brand". Huh.

I also bought this little craft kit from Toys R Us, I gave the purple one to my boyfriend and it broke the same day.
Aside from these few crafts, it's been a boring week.
~Till next time~
